Portuguese Chefs Scoop Top Industry Prize


Three Portuguese chefs have been awarded the coveted Chef de l’avenir prize by the International Gastronomy Academy (IAG).
Luís Américo, Ricardo Costa and Vítor Matos received the award during a ceremony held in Póvoa do Varzim, northern Portugal, on the 23rd of November.
The award is presented every year to the most talented and creative chefs in Portugal by the IAG, a non-profit-making association established in order to safeguard and develop gastronomic cultures and culinary heritages in Europe and elsewhere.
