Alentejo Food Highlighted in the Daily Telegraph

The gastronomy of one of Portugal's most rustic tourist regions, the Alentejo, was recently featured in the Daily Telegraph, a leading newspaper in the United Kingdom.
Described as a 'food lover's paradise', the publication ranked the Alentejo as one of the country's top gastronomic destinations, with a range of regional specialities including fresh Atlantic seafood, creamy local cheeses, ham and pork from acorn-fed black pigs, delicious olive oil, tempting local desserts and noteworthy wines.
'If you’re planning a trip to the Alentejo,' wrote the newspaper, 'it’s worth dispensing with the diet before you arrive – you won’t want to miss the fabulous food on offer.
